When you drop off a bag of clothes or schedule a furniture pickup, you’re doing more than clearing space at home. You’re helping families across Colorado find comfort during some of life’s hardest moments.
Every donation to the TRU Thrift Shop helps fund care through hospice, palliative care, grief support, memory care, and TRU PACE programs at TRU Community Care—supporting real people, right here in our community.
When you donate furniture in Boulder or clean out your closet, you’re helping fund hospice care palliative care, and more. Your generosity turns everyday items into moments of relief, support, and dignity.

Located on the northeast corner of Arapahoe Avenue and 55th Street. The shop is wheelchair accessible, and we look forward to welcoming you.
Our thrift shop in Boulder is a convenient donation drop-off center for Louisville, Lafayette, Broomfield, and Boulder County residents—a local place to donate household goods that directly support local healthcare.
What Items Can I Donate to the TRU Thrift Shop?
We gratefully accept donations that help others feel cared for and supported, including:
- Clothing and accessories
- Furniture (pickup available)
- Household items and small appliances
- Books, décor, and collectibles
Items in clean, gently used condition help us serve families best. If you’re unsure about an item, we’re always happy to help—just give us a call.
Donation Hours
Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Furniture pickup is available by appointment. Scheduling ahead allows us to care for your items respectfully and make the best use of our volunteers’ time.
