About TRU Community Care

Who We Are

At TRU Community Care, we believe every life — and every story — matters. Since 1976, we’ve been a Colorado-rooted, nonprofit healthcare organization walking alongside individuals and families through life’s most tender and challenging moments. What began as Boulder Hospice, Colorado’s first hospice provider, has grown into a family of compassionate services — but our heart has never changed: we are here to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to the people we serve.

We affirm life at every step of the journey with serious illness and loss, offering care that honors your whole life — not just a diagnosis. We believe everyone deserves to live fully, to be heard deeply, and to receive care that reflects their values, wishes, and unique needs.
We serve families across Boulder, Broomfield, Adams, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Denver, and Weld Counties — and beyond — with care that feels less like healthcare and more like family.
